This regards a request by Broad Comm, Inc. (Broad Comm) for Special Temporary Authority (STA) to allow use of six 6-GHz frequencies with power not to exceed 50 mW. The purpose is to accommodate the use of portable cameras at the 2017 Super Bowl at the NRG Stadium, Houston, Texas. All use will be at the venue. Broad Comm provides radio frequency support services to various entities at major events. The FCC has granted Broad Comm and others similar requests for numerous previous events. Six frequencies have been requested, to adequately support this event and the realization that frequencies are shared with other users and may not always be available.
